English Teachers for Home Lessons & TLC School
To teach our enrichment programme, deliver one-to-one lessons in students’ homes in Paris and the Île-de-France region, and potentially teach a few hours at TLC School according to the French school calendar.

Lessons take place Monday to Friday after 15:00, all day Wednesdays, with some weekend options. The academic year starts on 12th September 2026. Successful candidates should be available for initial online induction and preparation from mid-August. The French School Calendar has on average 2 weeks holiday every 6 weeks which means that teaching takes place 3 out of 4 weeks a month.

Applications are welcome from candidates who live locally or within an hour’s commute to Paris to join our team of empowering ESL teachers.

Pay:
— CDI Vacataire Status: 20€ – 23€ net per hour depending on teaching level at TLC and our internal promotion scale.
— Auto-entrepreneur Status: 33€ – 39€ net per hour depending on teaching level at TLC and our internal promotion scale.

We require valid work papers or an EU passport and all relevant police checks.

The following would support your application:
— Desire to teach primary and secondary school-age children
— Organised, patient and enthusiastic
— English mother tongue or certified C2 level
— Experience in teaching CEFR levels A1 – C2 and ESOL exams would be an advantage
— TEFL, CELTA or DELTA trained, with experience in teaching or as a private tutor (a plus)
