Part-Time Anglophone Section Teacher

Anglophone Section Middle School and High School Teacher (Part-Time)
ASB, the Anglophone Section at Institut Notre Dame in Saint Germain-en-Laye, is looking to recruit a qualified, native English-speaking, part-time Middle School and High School teacher to begin in September 2024.
The ideal candidate:
• is a native English speaker;
• possesses a teaching qualification from an English-speaking country;
• has experience teaching English Language and Literature, History, or Business Studies at the middle school and/or high school levels;
• is enthusiastic, flexible, highly organized, and works well in a team;
• has a working knowledge of French;
• is familiar with the French educational system.
All candidates must be in possession of a valid French work permit or hold EU citizenship.
Demonstrable experience teaching any of the following Cambridge IGCSE syllabi will be highly valued, but is not a prerequisite:
• 0500 First Language English
• 0511 English as a Second Language
• 0475 Literature in English
• 0470 History
• 0450 Business Studies.

ASB at Institut Notre Dame is an Anglophone section within a French private Catholic school in the western suburbs of Paris. The Anglophone Section offers English language, literature, culture, and history instruction to nearly 600 native and bilingual students from pre-school to high school (from ‘petite section’ through ‘Terminale’), complementing the students’ French national curriculum coursework. We are located in Saint Germain-en-Laye (78).
