Are you a passionate educator ready to embrace new challenges? Look no further! We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Anglophone section at Institution Sainte-Geneviève in Asnières-sur-Seine, starting in September 2024 for 6th-grade students. This exciting initiative will accommodate a maximum of 25 students and will progressively expand to higher grade levels in subsequent years.
About Institution Sainte-Geneviève: For over 150 years, our school has been a Catholic educational establishment under the congregational supervision of the Sisters of Saint Joseph. With a current student body of over 2,000 from preschool to high school, we are committed to fostering intellectual and cultural growth.
Position Overview: As an English teacher in the Anglophone section, you will play a pivotal role in our students’ development. Your responsibilities include:
● Curriculum Preparation: Design engaging course content for language, civilisation and science.
● Class Construction and Facilitation: Deliver 6 to 7 hours of face-to-face pedagogical instruction to year 6 students.
● IGCSE Preparation: Prepare students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in language, civilisation and science.
● Enrichment Activities: Organize extracurricular events and competitions with other Anglophone institutions.
● Entrance Test Support: Create supporting documents for entrance tests in year 6.
Qualifications:
● Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (C2 level) with dynamic and interactive teaching abilities.
● Experience: Previous teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
● Personal Qualities: Passion for education, creativity, patience, and active listening.
